About the role
The Junior Ecommerce Assistant is an entry-level role within the Online Sales Team, providing essential administrative and operational support for the growth and maintenance of the website across AU and US markets. This role assists in day-to-day site upkeep, product updates, reporting, and basic merchandising tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency in online operations.
The Junior Ecommerce Assistant reports directly to the Junior Ecommerce Manager for daily supervision and management and as required by the Sales and Brand Director.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Timely and accurate execution of daily and weekly website sweeps, ensuring any issues are promptly flagged to the relevant team members.
Accurate and timely replication of approved new range merchandising launches across AU site to US site as directed.
Accurate application of approved markdowns, product tags, and metafield updates in Shopify, ensuring correct display across AU and US sites.
On-time preparation and submission of weekly and monthly ecommerce sales performance reports.
Consistent upkeep of product data accuracy (including inventory checks, colour swatches, size variants, and sale tags) across both sites.
Ongoing Functions
Website Checks & New Range Maintenance
Conduct regular web sweeps across AU and US sites, flagging any errors or issues (pricing, imagery, links, product details)
Perform web sweeps specifically after new sales launches to ensure correct display and functionality.
Prepare product descriptions as approved and prepared by the Junior Ecommerce Manager
Maintenance of ‘New Arrivals’ tab for new launches
Apply approved merchandising for new collections to designated collections (New Arrivals, Sale, All Collections).
Add in colour swatches to shopify & apply them to their corresponding products (cait to continue to add GTL options based on styling & current best sellers)
Update product tags, colour swatches, and metafields for new arrivals and sale items.
Delete incorrect size variants in Shopify to ensure accurate options are displayed.
Merchandising Support
Replicate approved merchandising layouts from AU to US sites, following guidelines from the Junior Ecommerce Manager and upper management.
Apply approved markdowns in Indigo and Shopify, update sale tags, and adjust custom metafields for filtering in the Sale collection.
Add markdowns and update markdowns after approval by management, setting new price in range sheet, indigo and shopify.
Tagging work and Foursixty support.
Flag negative inventory to the warehouse team and cc the Junior Ecommerce Manager and monitoring sold out styles in any related reporting or sheets.
Enter approved retail reorder PO details into the range sheet.
Support photo reshoot planning by updating the reshoots tab with approved lists provided by the Junior Ecommerce Manager
Reporting & Data Maintenance
Assist in compiling weekly and monthly ecommerce sales reports
Assist in compiling competitor reports
Assist in compiling influencer ROI reports
Send best-seller updates for the wider team.
Monitor competitor websites for pricing discrepancies and sales on key styles, flagging issues to the Jnr Ecommerce Manager
Keep the range sheet up to date, moving ranges into combined tabs, removing sold-out styles, and maintaining organised records
