ZigZag is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team!

About our client

Our client is a leader in B2B payments fintech, making complex payments simple. They are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who not only has strong tech design expertise but also understands branding, strategic design, and how to work effectively with stakeholders to bring a brand to life.

About the Role

This role is for a creative thinker with a strong eye for design, typography, and layout, coupled with a deep understanding of branding and marketing principles. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and refining our client's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all digital and print touchpoints. This includes helping to uplift their brand and finalise our style guide, ensuring that all assets align with a cohesive brand strategy.

The ideal candidate can follow a tight brief while also bringing valuable insights and ideas, understanding that the best designers don’t just execute—they collaborate.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Visual Identity

  • Work with the Marketing department to refine our client's brand identity, ensuring cohesive design across all platforms.
  • Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of brand guidelines for use across their product ecosystem.
  • Take projects from concept through research, exploration, and delivery to create seamless and high-impact designs.
  • Work closely with marketing and other stakeholders to maintain brand consistency and elevate visual storytelling.

Graphic Design & Creative Execution

  • Develop engaging digital and print marketing assets, including web pages, eDM banners, social media graphics, reports, and event collateral.
  • Create sophisticated, high-quality designs that align with B2B, fintech, and strong global brand standards.
  • Execute finished art production, preparing high-quality files for print and digital use.
  • Create branded Google Doc templates for internal and external use.
  • Stay informed on B2B and fintech design trends, incorporating insights into our branding.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Input

  • Work across multiple projects from concept to completion, managing deadlines while balancing creative input.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, product, and leadership to align visual assets with broader business goals.
  • Proactively identify and solve design challenges to improve workflows and ensure high-quality outputs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing motion graphics and animations for promotional content and product demos (After Effects or similar).
  • Ability to work within HubSpot’s CMS to create web pages that follow existing design principles.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX principles to enhance digital experiences.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in graphic design, ideally within a B2B, fintech, or tech-driven environment. 
  • A strong portfolio showcasing brand design, conceptual work, typography, and layout expertise.
  •  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 
  • Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design execution.
  •  A collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and in teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Strong organisational and technical skills to deliver high-quality results. 
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in graphic design or a related field.
