ZigZag is looking for a CAD Designer (Furniture Designer) to join our team!

*Office is located in Ortigas, Pasig City.

Overview:
This opportunity is highly rewarding and challenging and would best suit an applicant who is passionate about technical drawing, documentation, collaborating amongst a team, and meeting client deadlines. Experience in the Residential Building Industry will to be to your advantage.

You will be responsible for producing design drawings accurately and reflecting client requirements. In addition, you will complete shop drawings to enable effective and technically accurate production to flow smoothly. An eye for dynamic design and technical accuracy will be essential. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate a definite interest and exposure to technical drawing and design.
 

Position Role:

• You will be able to generate technically accurate drawings from issued specifications within a collaborative environment

• Preparing general arrangement drawings for client approval and use.

• Able to consistently produce drawings showing all relevant specifications and measurements that facilitate the accurate production of jobs.

• Understand external client time-frames and your part in delivering high levels of customer service.

• Display basic project management skills.

• Ability to read architectural plans and specifications

• Able to communicate effectively in a team environment.

• MS office Experience - Outlook, Word, Excel.

• Previous CAD / drawing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  Industry experience or previous liaisons with builders is advantageous.

• Cabinet Making experience preferred but not necessary.

Training:
There is no requirement to have any drafting qualifications.
You will receive all training required to perform the role and this is a great opportunity to gain experience in technical design drafting. There is scope for the right candidate to complete vocational qualifications (Cert III and IV) related to the role.
