Sales and Marketing Assistant (E-Commerce) | Remote
About the Client:
The Client is the company behind leading automotive brands including Brixton 4x4, EliteDrive, and Tyre Bay. We specialise in aftermarket 4x4 parts, performance upgrades, and wholesale tyre distribution across Australia. With a strong focus on operational efficiency and customer service, we are seeking a proactive, detail-driven team member to support our growing eCommerce and customer service operations.
Role Overview:
As the E-Commerce, Sales & Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in keeping the online operations running smoothly. You’ll handle everything from ensuring customer orders are processed and dispatched, to assisting with sales enquiries, co-ordinating freight quotes, and delivering professional customer support across multiple channels. You’ll also contribute to the daily marketing efforts, helping the client stay connected with the customers through social media and email.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Fulfilment & Admin:
Monitor and manage Shopify orders to ensure timely fulfilment, especially pickup and drop-ship orders.
Tag orders with estimated dispatch dates and update as needed.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain tracking, confirm dispatches, and follow up on outstanding orders.
Use Cin7 to review sales orders, confirm pick/pack status, and ensure purchase orders are invoiced correctly.
Verify that Shopify credits have synced correctly and are authorised.
Marketing Support:
Schedule and post daily content on Facebook and Instagram across the client's three brands.
Assist in creating and sending one email newsletter per brand each week.
Support promotional campaigns and content updates on the Shopify websites.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and look across all digital content.
Requirements:
Experience using Shopify, especially for fulfilment, tagging, and handling draft orders/quotes
Familiarity with Cin7 Core (or similar inventory/order platforms)
Prior experience in customer service or sales support, ideally in an e-commerce setting
Comfortable communicating with suppliers and customers in a professional and friendly manner
Experience managing freight quotes and tracking for large or irregular items
Competent in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and email marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo or Mailchimp)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised and able to self-manage priorities
Desirable (Not Essential):
Previous work in the automotive aftermarket, parts, or 4x4 industry
Experience with Canva, Shopify Flows, and SMS tools like Podium
A passion for 4WDs, performance vehicles, or off-road culture
