Zigzag is looking for a Project Lead to join our team!
*Candidates must be willing to report on a hybrid setup (4x a week in Ortigas)
*Working schedule is Mon to Fri, 7am to 4pm
The Projects Lead will be responsible for driving the successful execution of projects and programs, ensuring alignment with ZigZag’s business goals and strategic priorities. This role requires a proactive leader who can oversee multiple projects, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure the seamless implementation of Agile methodologies. Reporting to the Head of the Strategic Performance Team, the Projects Lead will play a key role in strategic planning, projects delivery, resource management, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation. This position will also provide mentorship to Project Specialists and Program Managers, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture within the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project & Program Leadership
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Establish and refine project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards and other relevant security and operational policies.
- Portfolio Management Support
- Work with the Head of Strategic Performance Team and leadership team to track project investments, value delivery, and overall portfolio health.
- Support portfolio reporting, ensuring leadership has visibility into project progress, risks, and resource utilization.
- Identify interdependencies across projects and programs, ensuring synergies are maximized and conflicts are minimized.
- Provide recommendations on resource allocation, project sequencing, and optimization to enhance portfolio performance.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor and develop Projects Specialist, Projects Leads, and Program Managers ensuring high performing and motivated team members.
- llocate resources effectively, ensuring optimal workload distribution and skill utilization within the projects team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement among project teams.
- Stakeholder & Cross- Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Head of the Strategic Performance Team and senior leadership to prioritize and align projects with company strategy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, ensuring transparency and alignment across departments.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, department heads, clients and vendors, to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that project teams operate efficiently and with clear objectives.
- Contribute to Strategic Planning Process & Continuous Improvement
- Play a key role in ZigZag’s annual strategic planning process, contributing insights and recommendations for company-wide initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

- Utilize data-driven insights to refine project management practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, Agile methodologies, and project management innovations to enhance team capabilities.
- Risk Management & Problem-Solving
- Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions.
- Address project roadblocks efficiently, ensuring timely resolution of challenges.
- Ensure projects remain adaptable and responsive to changing business needs and priorities.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance, lessons learned, and areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes and methodologies to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and project outcomes.
- Collect feedback from stakeholders and project team members to identify lessons learned and best practices for future project implementations.
- Assist in Strategic Performance Team Responsibilities:
- As a key member of the Strategic Performance Team, actively participate in delivering both team and company-wide activities and initiatives.
- Work closely with the Head of Strategic Performance Team and various departments to align strategic initiatives management with overarching strategic goals and initiatives.
- Leverage Agile methodologies and principles to contribute effectively to the Strategic Performance Team's efforts in driving organizational excellence and agility.
- Provide valuable insights derived from strategic initiatives' performance and delivery to inform strategic decision-making processes at both team and organizational levels

- Proficiency in using project dashboards, tracking KPIs, and leveraging data to optimize project execution across different initiatives.
- Capacity to adjust priorities quickly in response to shifting business needs, unexpected challenges, or new strategic directions.
