Our client is looking for a detail-driven, proactive, and tech-savvy Business Development Coordinator to join their high-performing team. In this role, you’ll help drive new opportunities and ensure smooth, high-quality proposal delivery that aligns with our brand and growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal, Opportunity, and Conversion

  • Document Management: Download requested documents and maintain an accurate, well-organised file system on SharePoint. This includes providing updates on Teams and during Huddles, and moving key documents to Delivery folders upon conversion.

  • Tender Setup: Assist in identifying and setting up Business Development opportunities through tender portals, using keyword and department searches to find opportunities relevant to the Client's services. Download tender documents and content for review by the Market Leader or Managing Director.

  • Content Coordination: Support the development of tailored, critical content by liaising with subject matter experts and effectively managing submission deadlines.

  • Proposal Formatting: Deliver exceptional accuracy and speed in formatting response documents, ensuring alignment with brand writing guidelines and template styles (including contents tables, fonts, and font sizes).

  • Feedback Management: Coordinate the distribution and tracking of lessons learned and feedback from completed proposals to support continuous improvement.

  • Quote Preparation: Build quotes based on email briefs, consistently including a tailored introduction aligned to the service and sector using the Business Development library. Apply accurate bricks, rates, and financial guidelines in line with Market Leader Gross Profit Margin advice.

  • Contract Administration: Complete NDAs, confidentiality agreements (CAs), and coordinate their execution through DocuSign for CEO, Partnerships team members, witnesses, or consultants.

  • CV Management: Extract improvements and updates from tailored submissions to ensure the continuous enhancement of the master CV suite.

Automation, Lead, Pursuit, and Qualify Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and company information in HubSpot and Accelo, ensuring seamless data tracking and reporting.

  • Automation Support: Contribute to the improvement and automation of Business Development processes to drive efficiency and scalability.

  • Team Training: Support the onboarding and training of new team members on Business Development systems and tools to ensure effective adoption and usage.

  • SharePoint Management: Lead updates and continuous improvement of Business Development tools and resources on SharePoint.

  • Business Development Opportunity Optimisation: Ensure all Business Development opportunities are correctly set up and optimised for accurate tracking and reporting in Accelo.

  • Connect Inbox Management: Oversee the Connect inbox, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses while refining inbox processes for efficiency.

  • Research and Mapping: Conduct client research and help develop targeted mapping strategies to support effective pursuit planning and lead generation.

  • Reporting Efficiency: Drive improvements in Business Development reporting processes and performance tracking to enable timely and insightful decision-making.

  • Process Improvements: Proactively identify and recommend enhancements to OKR reporting, Business Development workflows, and overall team processes.

  • Market Pipeline Support: Assist the Heads of Partnerships in maintaining and updating accurate market pipelines to support proactive business development planning.

They’re looking for a team player with 2-3 years of experience in business development, proposals, or sales support- someone who can juggle priorities, switch gears quickly, and confidently manage varied tasks without needing close supervision.
