QA Automation Tester | US Shift | Immediate Hiring
ZigZag is looking for a QA Automation Tester to join our team
*You must be willing to work on night shift schedule (Monday to Friday: 9pm-6am/10pm-7am Manila Time)
*This is a remote work, but requires on-site for team events. Office is located in Ortigas, Pasig City.
About the Role
ZigZag is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join one of our client teams in the US who specializes in the real estate, asset management, and financial services sector. This role plays a key part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software and internal tools that support their operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying bugs, validating functionality, and supporting the software engineering team with rigorous testing across platforms and workflows.
While the role is primarily remote, there may be occasional requirements to attend onsite meetings to collaborate and connect with the client’s team. This is expected to be once a month, or possibly once a quarter, depending on team needs.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage
Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases for both new features and existing systems
Conduct manual testing and exploratory testing of web-based applications and internal tools
Document and report bugs clearly and accurately using tools such as JIRA
Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and usability checks as needed
Participate in sprint planning and QA checkpoints to improve product quality
Ensure products meet functional, design, and user experience expectations before release
Qualifications & Skills
1–3 years of experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role
Familiarity with QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle
Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently while collaborating remotely with a US-based team
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Comfortable with fast-paced, Agile development environments
Preferred (but not required):
Exposure to the real estate or finance industry
Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or Cypress
Understanding of basic programming logic (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or Python)
