ZigZag is looking for a SQL Developer to join our team!

*You must be willing to work on a nightshift schedule (Monday to Friday 10am to 9pm/9pm to 6am Manila time)

*Setup is flexible 

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior to Mid-Level Developer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our customized MRI Software platform, which is the core system we use for real estate management and accounting. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to apply their technical skills to a specialized business application and become an expert in the MRI ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hands-on SQL Development: Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL/T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support platform functionality.
  • Platform Support & Enhancement: Support and extend custom workflows, reports, and data integrations within the MRI environment.
  • System Collaboration: Work closely with internal accounting, property management, and other business teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and improve/maintain core MRI functionality.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the stability, performance, and integrity of the database through robust design and development practices.
  • Learning & Growth: Dive deep into the MRI Software platform architecture and its capabilities, actively seeking opportunities to learn and apply new skills.

  • Years of experience: at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong SQL/T-SQL Skills: Proven ability to write efficient queries, understand database concepts, and perform optimization.
  • Database Fundamentals: A solid understanding of databases, data structures, and business systems.
  • Analytical Mindset: Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a natural aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Eagerness to Learn: A strong desire and capacity to quickly learn a complex, custom business application like MRI Software.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
  •  Prior hands-on experience with MRI Software.
  • Experience with other real estate management or accounting platforms (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, etc.).
