About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the development and delivery of the client's core lending platform. You’ll collaborate closely with both technical teams and operational teams to design, build, and maintain innovative, market-leading software that enhances the customer experience and drives operational efficiency.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for owning the end-to-end development lifecycle – from building robust backend architectures to crafting responsive front-end interfaces. You’ll write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, apply best practices in software engineering, and champion technical excellence across the team.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on delivery, where your leadership will also support junior developers through code reviews, mentoring, and technical planning sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with both the technical team and internal stakeholders to design, build and maintain marketing-leading software to facilitate consumer lending.

• Design and build full-stack web applications using Laravel, Vue.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.

• Maintain and enhance existing systems, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and security.

• Integrate with external APIs and third-party services while maintaining clean architecture and data integrity.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups as part of an agile development process.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose new tools or frameworks that align with business needs.

• Take ownership of projects and lead by example in fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and innovation.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

• Proven expertise in Laravel Framework, VueJs, Typescript, TailwindCSS.

• Experience working with relational databases (eg. MySQL) and Restful APIs.

• Exposure to consumer lending or consumer-focused products is preferred.

• Strong sense of ownership, problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Proficient with developer tooling, such as git, npm, vite, copilot/cursors, Gitlab.
