About the Role

They’re looking for a creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of marketing principles. You’ll play a key role in ensuring their marketing initiatives are data-driven and that their brand messaging is cohesive across all digital and print channels.

Your day-to-day will include website audits, competitor research, campaign execution, and budget reconciliation. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas, improve processes, and learn new skills in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Website Audits & Compliance: Ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance of website content in the Australian market. Suggest copy improvements to align with our client's positioning.
  • Content & Messaging: Assist in refining marketing copy and ensuring consistency across channels.
  • Marketing Admin & Coordination: Manage approvals, check for errors, and maintain internal inboxes.
  • Data & Analysis: Work with Google Sheets or Excel to support marketing reporting and budget tracking.
  • Market & Competitor Research: Conduct research on direct and indirect competitors, industry trends, and product positioning.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in executing marketing campaigns, SEO tasks, and Google Ads negative keyword analysis.
  • Marketing Automation & Workflows (Training available): Support email marketing (EDM) automation, customer journeys, and CRM workflows in HubSpot.
  • Social Media: Contribute ideas, research trends, and support implementation.
  • AI & Automation: Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini to streamline tasks and enhance efficiency.

Must-Haves

  • Two or more years of experience in marketing, ideally within a B2B, fintech, or tech-driven environment.
  • Marketing qualification (certificate or equivalent work experience).
  • Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel (basic formulas, data organisation).
  • Understanding of marketing principles, website management, and campaign execution, or a strong willingness to upskill.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to make data-driven suggestions.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage administrative marketing tasks, such as tracking approvals, checking internal inboxes, and identifying errors.

  • HubSpot workflows & automation—Building and managing CRM workflows.
  • Content writing & briefing—Writing content briefs and assisting with presentations for marketing leadership.
  • Market research & competitor analysis—Analysing trends and industry insights.
  • Marketing budget reconciliation—Ensuring invoices align with the approved budget.
  • Google Ads & SEO—Negative keyword analysis, SEO tasks, and website optimisation.
  • Social media—Ideation, research, and implementation of social content.
  • AI & Automation—Using ChatGPT or Gemini to streamline marketing processes.
