As part of the engineering department, you will join our master data team of dedicated professional engineers focused on delivering great client outcomes. This is a fast-paced environment that requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with superior attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Identification of parts required for maintenance tasks including images of assemblies and sub-assemblies from OEM manuals such as Hitachi, Liebherr, Caterpillar etc.
- Ability to identify breakdown components from a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems
- Aptitude to work in accordance with documented methods and processes, creating a quality output for the clients.
- Improve Processes: Identify ways to improve processes to help us become even more efficient and effective.
Deliverables:
- Bill Of Materials – Itemised breakdown of required materials within systems
- Task lists – Required components to carry out scheduled replacements
- Work Instructions – Document procedure for mechanic to carry out replacement if required
- Strategy – Identify potential gaps and improvements to existing maintenance regime.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a mechanical role or mechanical engineering degree (experience in mining or industrial sectors is a plus but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to learn new software and technical concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and can-do attitude
- Previous experience with either SAP, Maximo or Pronto software a plus but not required
- Must be willing to report on a hybrid setup for 3x-4x in Ortigas. The role is open for remote setup after the six-month period.
