ZigZag is looking for a Graphic Designer and Marketing Associate to join our team!
About the Role
This role blends graphic design and marketing coordination, requiring a creative thinker with a keen eye for design and a strong grasp of marketing principles. You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality visual assets, supporting marketing initiatives, and ensuring brand consistency across digital and print channels. Additionally, you’ll assist in marketing execution, including website audits, competitor research, and budget reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Creative Execution
Essential:
- Follow design briefs while contributing insights and creative ideas.
- Develop engaging visual assets for digital and print marketing, including web pages, EDMs, social media, reports, and event collateral.
- Create Google Doc templates that align with Zai’s branding.
- Maintain and evolve Zai’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Execute finished art production, preparing high-quality files for print and digital use.
- Stay up to date with B2B and fintech design trends and apply insights to enhance branding.
- Basic animation and motion graphics for video content and product demos (After Effects or similar).
- Work with HubSpot CMS to create and update web pages within established design guidelines.
Marketing Coordination
Essential:
- Conduct website audits, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with Zai’s current offerings. Ensure compliance requirements are met. ( we will support in training)
- Make recommendations to improve website copy and content to reflect Zai’s positioning. ( we will support in training)
- Work with Google Spreadsheets or Excel
Nice to Have (or Willingness to Learn):
- Assist in building and managing workflows via HubSpot. (full training provided)
- Write content briefs and presentations for the Head of Marketing. (full training provided)
- Conduct market research on competitors, products, and industry trends. (full training provided)
- Support the marketing team with budget reconciliation, ensuring invoices align with the approved budget. (full training provided)
- Assist with Google Ads negative keyword analysis and basic SEO tasks. (full training provided)
- Support EDM workflows and automation, optimising customer journeys. (full training provided)
- Contribute to social media ideation, research, and implementation. (full training provided)
What You Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in graphic design, ideally within a B2B, fintech, or tech-driven environment.
- A willingness to learn from the ground up about marketing management
- A strong portfolio showcasing brand design, conceptual work, typography, and layout design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Motion graphics and animation experience (After Effects, Premiere) is a plus.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Understanding of marketing technology, campaign execution, and website management.
- A problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with HubSpot, or any other mainstream CMS is beneficial but not essential.
