ZigZag is looking for a Junior to Mid HR Business Partner to join our team!

The role partners closely with the Leadership Team and HR Leaders to shape, drive, and deliver culture, engagement, and communications. You will be responsible for delivering impactful and value-adding people services and solutions to stakeholders, nurturing employee peak performance, offering mentoring and coaching to members of the team, and working closely with the Head of People & Culture in developing and delivering strategies that support and promote a unified company culture.

You will play a critical role in shaping and supporting the company's culture, attracting and retaining top talent, and ensuring that the company is positioned for success by delivering exceptional people services and solutions to all stakeholders

Strategic People Partnership Responsibilities:

  • Deliver impactful/value adding people services & solutions to stakeholder
  • Nurture employee peak performance
  • Offer mentoring and coaching to members of the team
  • Work with the Head of People & Culture in developing & delivering strategies
  • Align business objectives with employee and management of designated business units
  • Formulate partnerships across the P&C functions to deliver value added services/solutions to management and employees
  • Cultivate Zigzag Culture within the assigned business unit and seek out synergies
  • Consult with line management providing P&C guidance when appropriate
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation
  • Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers
  • Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
  • Work with Head of People & Culture in Strategy Development and Delivery
  • Coaching & mentoring of other members of the team
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications: 
  • At least 2 years of experience in employee relations and labor relations 
  • Strong communication and people skills, can inspire & empower people
  • Strong problem discovery and problem solving skills
  • Creativity, curiosity and a strong growth mindset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
